LHS Pole Vaulter Reaches State Finals

As mentioned in my print article (shameless plug), LHS senior Jimmy Toner competed in the regional pole vault championships today in Amherst.

He broke his school record in pole vault with a 15'3" vault finished in second place.
That means he will compete next week in the State Championships at Ohio State U in Columbus.

LHS Girls pole vaulter Clare Toole will compete Friday in Amherst, less than two hours before graduation.
She's hoping to both qualify for the state championship and get to the ceremony on time!
