Please elaborate.Corey Rossen wrote:Listen, Jim O'Bryan is also a conflict of interest. He is a citizen, editor, publisher and outspoken activist yet you do not have a problem with it because you side with him. This is not picking on Jim, it is just his role and place in the community and as a citizen of Lakewood. This is the best example that came to mind right now.
What does JOB stand to gain on the hospital issue? Does he hold a financial stake in the outcome (beyond that of all citizens)? No.
Is he employed by City Hall? No.
Is he an office holder that needs to "control the message" to get re-elected? No.
So what exactly is his conflict of interest.
In addition, JOB has allowed City Hall to print its propaganda in the Observer....a level of fairness you would never see from "Lakewood Citizen" or "Lakewood Hometown News".
