The more I watch them play, the more impressed I am by their physical toughness and resilience and their mental tenacity. In my opinion rugby is tougher than football, especially with its constant game flow and the lack of protective gear.

If you'd like to seen these fine young ladies in action, you have two more chances:

Sunday May 8th at 1pm vs. Toledo
Sunday May 15th at 2pm vs. Parma

These games (and all home games) are played at Garfield Middle School.

If you'd like some background on the rugby team, here are some vintage Observer articles about their early days.
It's quite an interesting tale, and the Observer was the only one reporting it back in the 2000s.
