Deb and I had lunch with him in Detroit. Camped next to his motor home at Nelson Ledges, hung with him and Mario Andretti at IRP.

Close but cannot give it to due to a small technicality - you did not relate Newman to the hospital only to you and your double-wide camper, etc. Try again.

Maybe I just do not get it, but I have to say Corey and Stan are weird! And it is not Easter anymore.

Six Degrees of Lakewood Hospital Game. Try this one, we'll start off easy - Paul Newman. Go!
Cory, not sure what your going for but my favorite Newman film is " Cool Hand Luke". In it Strother Martin, as the Boss Man, has the great line, "What we have here is a failure to communicate."
Lakewood's Boss Man, Lakewood's Big Daddy (and now I'm mixing Tennessee Williams with Paul Newman, there's a degree of separation for you ) has consistently failed to communicate with regards to Lakewood hospital. More than that he's misled us. He's divided this city and he has refused to apologize for any of it. Not even a whiff of, we botched this but we promise in the future to dedicate ourselves to the principle of an open and transparent government and this is how we're going to do it.
Again not sure if that's what you were looking for but it's an interesting game. Thanks.

I am going with " Kill the Irishman " Ray Stevenson as Danny Green like some other person in Lakewood cuts into the mobs (the city's ) business, steals their money and assets and dares the mob to come and get him, and of course all of Danny's henchman stick with him until the bitter end.

The last 2 posts were well thought out, clever and creative but not quite how the "six degree of separation game" works. Well played, though, on those posts.

Link to rules as it pertains to the founding gamesman, Kevin Bacon.

Paul Newman was in The Sting. Teri Garr was in The Sting 2. That does not mean they met there, or that any of the cast overlapped. A link between the two would be the David Letterman show. They were both on that show numerous times. Teri Garr was born at Lakewood Hospital. Paul Newman to David Letterman to Teri Garr to Lakewood Hospital. That's like three degrees. Do I win?

Wait! Paul Newman and Teri Garr were in a 1964 movie called What a Way to Go!

Paul Newman to Teri Garr to Lakewood Hospital. TWO DEGREES!

Win.

Corey's Wikipedia link mentions that in 2002 The Onion had a headline that said, "Kevin Bacon Linked To Al-Queda." Very funny.
