Lakewood's winning and new pole vault record

Lakewood HS senior Jimmy Toner is "the man". Not only setting the new pole vault record but putting on a great display of grit in his last leg of the 4 X 400 relay making a valiant surge to pass his man just before the finish line to help move Lakewood HS one place up in the standings.

Yesterday was the 36th Annual Ranger Relays...it has grown into quite an event.
Nice work by Lakewood Track coaches Mike Dow and Stephanie Toole and their staffs organizing this tradition.
If you've never been to a track meet, you may want to check one out...the next home LHS meet is Wednesday at FFL Stadium.
The kids are all great and would appreciate your support.

That looks AWFULLY high! How high is that?

How does ANYbody do that???
