If you are referring to the Board offices on Warren Road, there are no plans to demo.

Bill
The building MIGHT have historical significance, that is being looked at by the Historical Society, and the Schools are in the conversation.
There is some thought of moving the School Board, just conversation, back to Franklin, or into the new Chateau Versaile Government, Rec, School Building that Mayor Summers is scheming to build with the money and land he grabbed by running out largest employer out of town. Probably enough room for his friends new yet unnamed non-profit, that got all the money from the hospital deal.

It would make a great boutique hotel; or perhaps a pants store.

You raise a good point. With 12 very qualified applicants for council, they picked Shawn Juris, someone that had been their cheerleader for a decade.
It now becomes obvious, we need to go back and look at everything, City Hall has zero trust, ZERO.
They lie, they do things in secret, they voted to destroy records in 2 years instead of 3, they looked for a way around 3 readings, and on and on and on. Ed FitzGerald and Mayor Summers will end up the worst most conniving and bad mayors in Lakewood's history.
