Maybe they decided Lakewood wasn't the place to "live well" anymore and took off?

Their old website looks like it has been co-opted. Unless living well in Lakewood now means learning about packing cubes and Bali.

The Lakewood Foundation still mentions the organization. See - thelakewoodfoundation.org

LiveWell Lakewood best known for selling hot dogs in front of DrugMart at various events, and for their LiveWell Lakewood event at Lakewood High, slowly dissolved from what I know of it. Many of the founding members had health issues in their families, and some had moved. Many of the people that were active in it are still around and active in other things.

Been a bad couple years for Lakewood event/club organizers.

What a shame. They never seemed to want our organization around yet we were here before them and are still going, outlasting them. I tried to get them involved in our activities and they refused. I thought it would be a great match up, they dealt with Lakewood adult health and we dealt with Lakewood youth health. Bad karma on them, I guess. What a shame.

For anyone new or not familiar with Live Well Lakewood, here is an old article introducing the organization.

Somethings are not meant to be, some are before their time.

With the case of LiveWell Lakewood I would say, some of Lakewood strongest warriors, spread very thin.

Death takes a lot out of people, especially when close to them.

Most of the players that are still in Lakewood have stayed active in other things, and judging from what we know, they will be a better financed version around, so...
