Sinagra vs. Summers?

Post by Marguerite Harkness »

JOB, Would you please fill us in with the backstory:
You have alluded to prior mayor (Sinagra?) going to prison for 2 years for transgressions. What was he convicted of, that led to that sentence? What else was involved?
And how does Summers' hospital debacle compare in severity?

Yes, those who weren't paying attention at the time (me, ) would love to know more.

Here is more info on his crimes and conviction. The politicians all really think what they do/did isn't so bad, don't they?

Check out his attorney. Funny how the same names constantly pop up.

Thanks Bridget.

Wow, the biggest dollar amount in Anthony Sinagra's deals, that landed him in federal prison, was "only" $300,000 in bribes received, and $3,000 in campaign contributions.

Sinagra was convicted along with 60 OTHERS in the federal investigation of Cuyahoga County corruption.
Attorney Brzytwa couldn't keep Sinagra out of prison; Judge said, Sinagra should have used better judgment.

But Mayor Summers gave away FAR MORE than $100 MILLION of OUR public assets, for pennies on the dollar, without public bidding. Gave it to the Cleveland Clinic, who apparently paid for campaign materials (don't know $$'s yet, either FOR Summers, or AGAINST our Issue 64 Charter Amendment, or AGAINST our candidates).

Who else, besides Clinic, stands to benefit financially from closing Lakewood Hospital? Funeral homes? Nursing homes? Both were represented on the hospital board.

Aren't the other folks who are riding along with Summers - at least CONCERNED about being investigated and convicted by the Feds as having some role in this horrid fraud? LHA? LHF? Active Living? School Board? Chamber? Beck? Charter Review Commission? North Coast Health Ministry? Developers? Others??

I swear someone will make a movie out of all the shenanigans that go on in Lakewood and Cuyahoga County. It certainly is a good thing that so many people in Lakewood are participating in finding the real truth about what is going on right here in our city. The Mayor and Council and CCF have awakened a Sleeping Giant to the benefit of all the residents. No matter what happens our eyes have been opened!

I believe it would make a great Law and Order Criminal Intent episode. With so much BS, they would have to make it a mini series!

Current actors/actresses only...who would play each part in the show/movie?

I see Brad Pitt playing the local website/newspaper/gossip column/police scanner/Stan Austin siting troll!
