Kauffman Park Friends to elect officers

Kauffman Park Friends will meet Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Main Branch of Lakewood Library. The purpose of this meeting is to elect officers. At this time, the vice president position is open and, as of the meeting, the president position will be open (I'm staying on until I find my replacement).

So two things:
1. Please put the meeting on your calendar and be a part of the future of this gem in the heart of our city.
2. Please consider putting your name in the hat for a position. Depending on the volunteers and their capabilities, we may add other officers. Post here, leave me a private message, or use any of our other media, like email (kauffmanpark@gmail.com) or Facebook to let us know.

Chief qualification: Lakewood residents with a stake in Kauffman Park. Living near the park, or coming to the park occasionally, qualifies you as a stakeholder.
