Why does my system keep logging me out?
Why do I keep having to log in? I have never had this problem before.
Also, I still cannot have a avatar.
Has Brian Essi already taken his position as Administrator on the Deck?

Mr Essi is becoming the admin for the deck!!! ????? RIGHT ON.!! Cant wait. I love that fellow, well spoken, articulate, no BS. kind of fellow.
Congrats on the new position, of moderation, of speech preparation! I think thats a nice rhyme. Its sounds better if you say it outloud.

No Brian hasn't
It is an automated sign-out feature for Deck Security, it was always there and it has actually be lengthened.
You must just be hanging on longer.

It happens at least once per day now, so I do not think it is hanging on too long.Jim O'Bryan wrote:Corey Rossen wrote:Why do I keep having to log in? I have never had this problem before.

Essi must be involved. It is a conspiracy!

Search the Deck, people have complained since day 1 about the limit. It was 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then was changed to 30 minutes.
You probably didn't use to sit on the site all day like now.
I think "time limit" should bring up the posts.

Re: Why does my system keep logging me out?
It happens when I look at the site on my phone and then move on to something else. I go back to the site and I am magically logged off. It does not happen when I sit around all day eating Bon Bons and trolling the Deck.Jim O'Bryan wrote:CoreyCorey Rossen wrote:This has never happened before, in the life of the Deck.Jim O'Bryan wrote:It is set at 30 minutes I believe.Corey Rossen wrote:It happens at least once per day now, so I do not think it is hanging on too long.

Seriously, they are safety features. Different ip addresses different log in.

Just trying to let you know about the new system, but everyone is a critic and comic! Sorry, I do not have sources, no one else looks at my phone.
Well played on the last word!

Any word on why the avatar function is not available? (not that anyone wants to see my puss)

Thanks for the heads up, but it is one of many security thingys we do.
To serve all of us better.
This would be your turn on last word, though it has gotten trickier with Grossetti in here too.
