A Challenge to Pasquale Manno--Facts and Sunshine

Post by Brian Essi »

Pasquale,

Let's see if you are able to articulate your position on the issue that brought you to the Deck:

1. State 5 facts that justify closing the hospital and giving CCF and LHA trustees a release of liability for past conduct:

Answer:

2. Set forth the basics of the City's negotiating position with CCF and what are the City's three top goals:

Answer:

Feel free to write 1,000 words or more so that it is clear as sunshine for all of us to fully understand how deeply your care about the people of Lakewood and the City's future.

It would be great if SOMEONE would answer these questions!

Unfortunately, the people who really should answer these questions hide behind closed doors and have yet to put themselves in the position to answer these questions that the public demands the answers to.

I am talking about the mayor, LHA/LHF members, CCF, City Council members who feel this is our only course, or anyone from Build Lakewood. Where are you people and why do you hide in the shadows?

People criticize those opposed to the hospital closing for their harsh attitude, but it's been a year of not getting answers to good and pertinent questions like these. It's enough to enrage anybody.

Closing the hospital and destroying/giving away $100 million is assets is "harsh"

If the BL'ers are so sick and threatened of the harsh voices being raised against this terrible "deal",

where are the calm and collected voices that will convince us once and for all?

I believe that Mr. Manno received some sort of Community Award. I was wondering if he could post the information about it here. Thanks.

It reminds me of the awards given to the scarecrow, tin man and lion at the end of the Wizard of Oz.
