Predictions - Will the Cleveland Clinic Lose This Election

Post by Bill Call »

Mayor Summers will get 40% of the vote.
Issue 64 passes by a narrow margin.

The Cleveland Clinic loses big time. The sharks will smell blood in the water. With this defeat will come new revelations that shake their entire business model.

I hesitate to predict the outcome. Even in the gubernatorial race where Fitzgerald was crushed and humiliated, there were people that actually voted for him! With all the evidence of his abysmal lack of judgement and character, and his utter hubris, some people still checked the spot next to his name!

There will always be people who are not informed, or even worse, who don't WANT to know the truth. Summers has a following of people who do not question him, just like Fitzgerald. They believe everything he says, just like Fitzgerald. They will be duped, just like Fitzgerald.

And there are people who follow Summers who repeat his lies and directly benefit from the lies.

My predictions:

Skindell wins mayoral race.

Issue 64 not passed.

Pagsuyoin and Calleri (probably spelled wrong) get on school board and Einhouse and Beebe lose spots. I think Pagsuyoin gets in because of her degrees and she is supported by so many SLH members (not sure why, but I see her signs with the SLH signs very often) and Calleri because he has said he will find creative solutions to fiscal problems and work against another levee because everybody hates levees but has to vote for them anyway also Calleri is outworking the others - I've see that guy (not his reps/campaign helpers, but the candidate himself) on foot all over the last 2 weeks. I don't know have an opinion on the third seat. I think Einhouse and Beebe have gotten a lot of bad press and won't get votes.

I think Judge Carol keeps his job.

I was told we there are three seats up for grabs and that we can vote for up to three candidates. So, yes, Woody and Peg can both win, unless I've been given incorrect info.
