I love virtually all aspects of Lakewood but here are some bonus reasons, in no particular order:
1. The time zone syncs up well with virtually all nationally televised TV shows and sporting events.
2. Saying, “one word, Lakewood” while ordering over the phone is easy. No need to spell it out.
3. The proximity of my driveway to my house is extremely convenient.
4. Whenever lost on the eastside I just aim for the lake and take a left.
5. It is neither too close, nor too far, from the sun.
6. I do not have to worry about Vermicious Knids.
7. It is not Pittsburgh.
8. Monsoon season has little effect on the weeds in my yard.
9. Disney World is just a taxi ride, flight, and bus trip away.
10. I’m pretty sure there haven’t been any Bigfoot sightings.

Don't the traffic circles/roundabouts they have there mess with your aim, though?Corey Rossen wrote:

You're right, they do mess with my navigating abilities. When this happens, I really heavily on licking my finger and sticking it out the window. The wind always blows north to south while in a moving car, correct?Peter Grossetti wrote:Don't the traffic circles/roundabouts they have there mess with your aim, though?Corey Rossen wrote:
