Actually, it's the "world version" of football, not the American kind.
The Ranger boys' soccer team is seeded #3 in their district of the upcoming OHSAA championship tournament.
They will play the winner of a first round game between St. Edward and Max Hayes.
I'm sure Eagles are heavily favored in that game.
The St. Edward/Max Hayes winner will play Lakewood on Saturday, October 24 at 7pm.
The game will be played at Garfield Middle School.
St. Edward and Lakewood played once during the regular season, a 0-0 draw at St. Edward.

Re: Lakewood vs. St. Ed Football Update
St. Ed won its first round game last night, so the "Battle of Lakewood" is officially ON for Saturday.
St. Ed also has an "American Football" game Saturday at 5pm at FFL Stadium, so Lakewood should have a significant home crowd advantage.
