Essi Issues Bullock Ultimatum: Resign or Face Recall

Post by Pasquale Manno »

Brian Essi made a public statement today demanding councilman Tom Bullock resign due to his actions while a member of the LHA board or else face a recall.

I wonder if Mr. Essi has the leadership skills required to pull off a successful recall election or if he's just blowing hot air. Whatever the case may be, Mr. Essi has clearly thrown down the gauntlet and directly threatened Mr. Bullock's political career.

Actually, Mr. Bullock has threatened Mr. Bullock's political career.

Mr. Manno can you spare us the hyperbole. I know that it has become obligatory for Build Lakewood to work in the word "threat" or "threaten" at every opportunity but really it's coming across as strained.

I haven't seen anything more on this. Is there more?

Are you questioning Brian Essi's ability to lead? He has done countless hours of research on the hospital issue, and thank god he did! I feel that Summer's has done nothing but lie to the citizens of Lakewood and has refused to follow the sunshine laws. (and not just regarding the hospital either). Now it appears that he has made himself and others a great deal with CCF. Is Summer's your idea of a leader? Really? If given the choice, I would rather have Mayor Essi than Summers.

Not that at all. Here's a provocative topic and comment, and I haven't seen anything to confirm or explain it.

Sorry, Dan. My question was meant to be for Pasquale. My bad.

The true measure of leadership is the ability to influence--nothing more and nothing less.

Mr. Manno underscores my ability to influence him and BL.

A few of my words here or there and I've got Mr. Manno and others at BL creating posts and making general accusations that make them look a bit foolish.

His post here underscores sensitivity to the vulnerability of a flimsy BL "leader".

Bullock is under the influence too--he can't pass up the opportunity to attack me--always in a general way--never with specifics.

It's like pressing a button and getting the same response.
