Oh Happy Day! Data Restored!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Years ago we had a member that went a little nuts, and we knew there were issues. He started deleting files, and ruining years of conversations, luckily DL Meckes noticed it as it was happening called and stopped it, one of the reasons we do not allowing deleting any longer.

She was able to save back-ups, and we have worked for years trying to figure out how to merge old Dbase with news Dbases that grow and grow and grow hourly.

Well last night one of our newest members worked through the night and was able to ad 24,000 topics from the past 12 years, and is now phasing in much of the deleted material that has been recovered will be phased in over the next could months.

This means except for this single attack we are closing in on 250,000 posts with only 5 lost, and 2 edited.

Thank you Lakewood, thank you Raul, Dan, and of course DL Meckes.

Enjoy, sign in and do a search for your favorite civic leader! Best search engine in discussion around. But you have to be a member.

12 years of respecting and protecting your privacy and thoughts.

12 years of Stan Austin restored - it is a happy day. I look forward to reading some of his earlier posts - he was always nicer to me in his early 30s, now that he is in his 40s he has grown bitter.

Please, enough bullshit about us out there already.

We do not have credit card numbers to give out.

That wasn't my credit card number, it was code to level 22 in Pac Man.

You would gain more from that than my credit card.

Not sure I know what "if you are in automatic check in" is? I know that I have to "log in" every day. Clear cache? You're talking to a techno-imbicile. Jim - should I ask Jeanne to help me? She's way smarter than me!
