Flora - In And Around Lakewood
Before the Observer Project I had a website called, "I love Lakewood" some of the more fun sections were the Flora and Fauna sections where people sent in their photos of animals and flowers in and around Lakewood.
Seeing some of Joe Ott's amazing bird photos last week in another thread made me think we should start it again
So please post your photos of Fauna in and around Lakewood into this thread.
Thank you.

I am no botanist but I am impressed by how azaleas and rhododendrons thrive in Lakewood. That suggests acidic soil, doesnt it? s there a scientific evidence for that?
I am always stunned driving around by the azzies and rhodies that just crop up even where no care is apparent.
I think Lakewood could do an "Azalea and Rhody Festival".
