Lakewood legend / lovable curmudgeon Tom Haley passed away today. Tom Haley was a long-term broadcaster until WKYC canceled him on a Friday the 13th. He was inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 1991.
Haley was well known as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He delighted in telling stories, especially about his family, but Haley was a born story-teller.
Our hearts go out to his family. He will be missed.

I enjoyed watching Tom Haley and Del Donahoo on the morning show before school. They were good at being old guys on tv.
