Nate Kelly and Ed Fitzgerald did all the leg work. The Social Security office was desperate to leave town. (The person in charge wanted to work closer to home). Each time the City offered a property that met all the criteria established by Social Security they found a new objection.

Kucinich just showed up for the face time on TV.
Man Bill you are sour puss. ;-)

Bill

You know for a fact that is a lie.

How long have we been talking of this?

This is a new "Called" disturbing trend. You and I spoke of this nearly two years ago. It was even posted on the Deck at that time to time stamp your knowledge and mine.

There is a lot that can be said about this deal, but your comment is an outright lie, and you know it.

Behind every silver lining there is a cloud.

A new office building and new tax revenue is good for the City. The Development Director and the Mayor did a great job.

The mayor and Nate did do a great job that started with Congressman Kucinich saying three years ago, it is not leaving Lakewood.

But Bill is incapable of even bending in his blind hatred.

FWIW

I don't hate Congressman Kucinich. I just think he is uninterested in his district. His last earmark went to Highland Heights.

The new Social Security office will be a multistory building. Social Security may add additional employees. All good news.

Sorry to bore you.

It's all about the loving energy (Chi) that drifts through Lakewood brotherhood, sisterhood and neighborhood to help us refresh our vision of the earthly pothole and the heavenly peninsula.

The New World Order of Civics born of the energetic symbol play of neighbors on the LO Deck is, of course, bothersome, as any eruption from the psyche will be.

The symptoms unleashed through psyche (called "the crowd" by Mary Ann Mattoon in Jung and Human Psyche: An Understandable Introduction) on the tips of these (S)words of our real name cyber personas and hidden personalities are the disturbing value-added aspect to a soulful re-vitalization plan no mater what gets errected in the process.

Not a matter of being bored but one minute we are talking about civic issues and the next minute I am looking at a guy in a Crusader Rabbit outfit with a whole bunch of little insider comments from people I dont know,
Do whatever you want with your forum. I will just go back into my little hole.

Its apropros of nothing I guess but since a couple of people have taken to using Heisenbergs quote here it reminded me of something cute I read about quantum mechanics.

Dee,

Thanks.

I see the connection now.

The rabbit's probably better looking though.

Now I know how you must have felt a little earlier in this thread....

Having trouble following it and all...:D

I guess some things are like that...

I think sometimes this entire 'Deck would make a great cartoon serial...

I don't understand so many of the Sunday funnies either...

Thanks, Mr Rice certainly didnt mean to offend. The rabbit IS cuter though. ;)

My issue sometimes here is that I feel like everyone knows everybody else and I am often walking into a private conversation. No offense intended but I have my own life and my own social circle and dont need another one.
I dont want to go to meetings or get involved. I am ALREADY involved in Lakewood in my own ways.
I look to this website as simply a way to share info and opinions about local issues. Sometimes I look for information sometimes I just want to vent.
I just feel that a lot of times discussions here devolve into John talking to Joe about what they did last night. And I just feel like I want to tune out, which I have done before and will likely do again.

Dee:

You’re a good sport, showing brains, humor, good taste with your nuptials in selecting Bill, and deep intuition - the psychic faculty sitting atop the unconscious, into the playful devolutionary drift.

Your playful moves may go against your sense of on-point purposeful civic discourse but they speak deeply to this Warren hole. Hence your splendid evocation of the trickster rabbit from your free release of intuition calls forth much about the founding quantum complex of personality magnetism, megalomania, and unpurified metals that dreams both LO and peninsula.

By way of intuition and the quanta of your own complex relation to the trickster rabbit you have expanded the mercurial energy on the LO Deck, provided new connectivity to the code and thus quickened our minds with respect for all you bring to the playing field.

Gary you know you are the lightening rod man, leading us back to the evolutionary path of light and love.

I sincerely thank the two of you, for all the civic personal, psychological, scientific and spiritual intuition, imagination and inspiration so evoked.

Thanks again Ken,

I guess it's not so much what we say,

...but that, at the least, it gets said.

Dee,

You are family here.

Stay awhile. Relax.

As yes, keep that old Quaker thought in mind....

..that there are three sides to an argument;

Thine, mine, and the Truth.

May we ever labor for that Truth. :D

Gotta go. Hmmm...I wonder if there's any carrots in the ice box?
