We Lost A Good One - Jerry Gerson LHS Class of 71

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

All

I received a call from Jeanne Gerson that Jerry Gerson passed away at 4:06pm.

Jerry has been part of my daily life, basically my brother, since we first
met I was in 7th grade he 8th. I am sharing some photos from my
recent trip to New York to see him while he was undergoing
Chemotherapy.

For the past six months he has been in tremendous pain and it is a relief
that he has finally gone on to whatever, and wherever really good people go.

Jean Gerson (Jerry's wife), my heart and love go out to you. Barbara, (Jerry's Step mother)
Jack(father) I am so glad that Jerry brought you into my life. To his 5 surviving
brothers and sisters, and 7 half brothers and sisters(McGrath).
We are all family and my heart is heavy.

Jerry you will be missed, my god you will be missed.

There will be a service in a couple weeks here in Cleveland.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news but know that Jerry must be in a better and pain free place.
Please keep us posted on when the service in Cleveland will be.
