George (older) and Greg (younger) Vlosich grew up on Larchmont Avenue, here in Lakewood. George has been all over the TV over the years. I remember when I met his younger brother Greg, he had wanted to meet me because of my photography, and he wanted to learn. I remember saying to him, "Hey, I saw your brother on David Letterman one night!". And now he's applying what he learned from me and is using it along with his brother to make headline after headline.
The brothers were in Washington D.C. last year to be featured on a ESPN show called P.T.I (pardon the interruption). It's good to see them back again, this time for a bigger event.
Their work is on display at the Manifest Hope Art Gallery, which is run by Shepard Fairey. Fairey did the "OBEY" posters many years ago, and also designed the Obama "HOPE" poster.
....and it all started on Larchmont Avenue, right here in good ol' Lakewood!
Their work is available on their website; http://www.gvetchedintime.com
PS: if you want someone from LAKEWOOD to design your downtown signs, these two would be a good place to start.
