More Observer News, With Schools

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

The Lakewood Observer is please to announce we will be working with the Lakewood Times and their staff to bring the eyes, ears, and thoughts of Lakewood Students to the printed version of the Lakewood Observer.

Karen Ballash and I have had many talks over the past year on how to do this and Thealexa Becker has actually helped to make both of our dreams a reality. Also driving forces behind this are Teresa Andreani, Linda Beebe, and Bill Wagner.

This is great news, as one of the things we like best is working with Lakewood High students. We have a long rich history of that which will only grow and be better for all of us.

Stay tuned...

I am very pleased that we have finally worked out a way to get some LHS centered new in the Lakewood Observer. It always seemed like a void to me...

Hopefully, this will encourage other aspiring reporters at LHS to submit their work to the Times or the Observer. It would be advantageous for any paper to get as many new perspectives as possible.
