Help plowing residential driveways

Post by John Palmer »

Anyone know if the City has a service where it will plow residential driveways for people. Paid or not, it doesn't matter.

Thanks.

The Division of Aging will help with snow removal for the elderly. Other than that I don't think so.

I have a neighbor who can no longer shovel because of health; he hires someone with a pickup for his driveway; I know there are a lot of people with pickups who buy a plowblade and pick up extra money by doing parking lots and driveways, but I have no idea what they charge.

I wonder if the city could put a snowbrush on the front of each of those cushmans they use for backyard trash pickup and get the driveways and sidewalks while they collect the trash? Certainly not if Fitzgerald succeeds in his crusade to get rid of workers and the cushmans and merge Lakewood into the image of Cleveland.
