Thank you so much!!!! The pictures were great. I really enjoyed the doggie swim pictures. I've always wanted to go to that - but my cats aren't really into it. :)

I think you showed the ambience of the event extremely well. I enjoyed the dog featured in picture 21 - 24 He or she is beautiful. Was this a brindle sheltie? I also enjoyed the golden in the 65 -70 series. Having had a golden, I could sense the happiness and excitment in him. I also loved the dog in picture 93.

Thanks for taking the time to put all of them up. I think the ones selected for the paper were great as well.

Lynn,

That was the most fun taking the Doggie Swim pictures! I took over 500 pictures and had to edit them down. Poor Jim got all the pictures on a disk for the paper and had to go thru all of them to find the best for the paper...he did a great job..there was alot to go thru!

The first dot 21-24 was a part Australian Sheep dog...a real cutie and she posed for me!

The dog 65-70 was a Retriever and just having alot of fun!

The last dog is a Goldendoodle...I remember because we have a Labradoodle...he was having great fun too!

Some of the more fun shots I took from the Lifeguard tower...they finally told me to get off...some of those high shots show how many people and dogs were really there!

Thanks for your support! It's great fun!

Feel free to stop by next year, Lynn. Many dogless folks stopped by to enjoy the fun.

Thanks to Rhonda, Jim and Ivor for their wonderful photos.

And thanks to the many great volunteers who made the event possible, and to the Rec department staff for handling the event.

Mike

All photos from Rhonda and Ivor. I came up short with a dead battery.

A greta weekend of brand building.

The Historical House Tour really highlighted many different homes and areas in Lakewood. Many come from outside the city to check us out.

and

The Dog Swim is just hilarious, and is the talk of the region for weeks afterwards. Great visuals even for those without dogs.

Thanks to all that worked on these vents.

Rhonda/Ivor once again thank you for capturing the color of Lakewood.
