However, per the article, no lease has been signed, and the owner is not identifying the location.

Lakewood's getting to be quite the single-dish concept place ... we have a Beer Engine, a Souper Market, Melt, and the cereal place. Next up, mac and cheese!

What's next, a place that only does chili? Or a meatloaf restaurant?

Seriously though, that's pretty cool if they move here ... it'll only help make Lakewood more attractive to potential residents and visitors!

C. D.

I remember a couple years ago a place called, "Bob's House of Beef" was looking to move into the spot that was occupied by "The Music Company." He claimed while talking of signage that it was the best roast beef sandwich in the world. He brought one in from home, and I have to admit it was pretty good.

Then there is/was two semi well known places looking for space in Lakewood, one was chicken and ribs, something this town desperately needs, and the other high end Italian, who had been here before. Then there was talk of a noodle house.

We nearly got John McDonald's Wine Bar when he was looking at the old furniture store on Fry and Detroit. Sadly he ended up in Rocky River.

It is good for Lakewood, and it is also good that place like Alladin's, The Melt can start here, get their shctick together and grow.

What would really help these businesses is adding living space, and bringing another 10,000 residents into Lakewood.

I would love a place like that here and so would my kids. The more food the merrier and some of us love the diversity, especially when food cravings come! Lakewood should be heaven for pregnant women!

We really, really need a place on the west end of Madison Jim if you have any pull! A place that serves take out and coffees too! I would guess Harding and Hayes would patronize a place down there for lunch and there are a lot of businesses on that end that would love it! Just putting that out there!

Haha I craved certain pizzas as Italian Creations so if I would have had Deweys, Melt's the mac and cheese place I would have been in heaven.
