Ohio City Observer, well...

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

All

Based on the all Observer Papers and projects, and the members of the Observers, the Ohio City CDC has been working the past 6 months with the Lakewood Observer, Observer, Inc. and AGS Software to relaunch...

The Ohio City Argus.

While not named Observer, the name Argus was chosen as it was the first printed paper in Northern Ohio and was based on W25th in Ohio City. It is an honor to work with Ohio City CDC in bringing this piece of newspaper history back to life.

Training is underway, and the staff is looking for a publication date of January 2009 for their first paper.

This will be the first of many papers AGS and Observer, Inc. have planned for the coming year in Cleveland.

Stay tuned for some really big news, really big news in December.

How will this affect the Plain Press?

I have no idea.

It was my thoughts that the Plain Press handles more than Ohio City. However it could be affected by the larger project down the road, which will be unveiled in December around the 20th.

One very real fear in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Medina, Detroit, Erie, Columbus is that they will be without a paper very soon.
