New Garbage Collection Day

Kudos to the Divison of Refuse and Recycling for their door to door followup on the new collection days. Hate losing my Monday collection but they sure went the extra mile to make sure I knew it was going to happen. Great job!

I'll trade you days....Now on top of remembering that the weekend id over, that I have to get up, shower and go to work, I have to remember to take out the recycling.....

Jeff,

Our street is in mourning. Sunday evening was all getting the garbage out from the Saturday basement/garage cleaning or the home improvement project done over the weekend or the party garbage from the weekend party. It was great not to have that stuff accumulate. Talk to me in a year. You may have changed your mind.

I was feeling pretty lucky about not having refuse collection day changed until we got the fuscia notice that Wed. is our new day.

I'm glad that the Refuse Dept. is making things more efficient. We didn't have any complaints.

The good news is that we'll be seeing our neighbors twice a week: on the weekend and on our new "Recycling Eve."
