I would take everyone outside of their body and put them into a body that they are prejudicedagainst, or hate. Let them walk in their shoes for at least a good week. Take spoiled children out of this country and their skin (including my own) and put them in a village in Africa for a week. Put people who hate on gays into their mind, soul and body for a week so they can feel and see through their eyes. I would put Obama in office. Oh yea some superpowers already did that!
Oh I would make Stehpen smoke that Cuban cigar in Cuba so he can see the importance of democracy and equal rights!

I am not sure where you read that Stephen but the facts remain that the Republican party caters to a certain group and has no tolerance for those who believe outside the box of right wing Christianity. You can't deny the group mentality of voting for a candidate because he is "pro-life" in terms of abortion, but yet the the group mentality has somehow swayed those same voters to think war, bombing others including women and children, is yet OK. To say abortion is wrong, yet be part of a political party that wants "less government" meaning less welfare or food or housing for the ones who choose not to abort but cannot properly feed or house their children conflicts. It is the most fundamental human longing to belong to a group, to count, to be able to contribute something. Some think voting every four years is their contribution. Then wait for a president, one man, to fail or succeed. And some in this country actually want Obama to fail, forgetting that would mean a failed country for themselves and their children, just to say their side was "right".
There is no way Stephen, that you became a Reiki Master and are knowledgeable about the Universal energy that passes through all, without being able to step away from party beliefs and affiliations to see the impact of global consciousness and this election. Because I have met you in person I know that you are more than your political views and beliefs. How about putting down the political barriers and forming a mobile Reiki group for teen parents, elderly, veterans, etc. with me and some others two hours a month?

talk about painting people with a broad paint brush...... just sayinthe facts remain that the Republican party caters to a certain group and has no tolerance for those who believe outside the box of right wing Christianity. And I am just sayin that too many of the issues of that party are completely hypocritical and not good, in fact damaging to its own people. To many pro-life equates to all life, in wars and bombing entire villages and thousands of people as well as animal rights that go discarded by some and to environmentalists who regard the entire planet as the most important life form to protect. Pro-life also means to many protecting and caring for the ones who are alive in this country and the world who need medical care, food, shelter, etc.
Just sayin
