No, I didn't know. I thought it was tickets only. If I had know, I probably would have gone in.

I don't limit my exposure to other ideas.

Well, thanks for that.

I heard it quite well from where I was standing.

Speaking before an enthusiastic crowd of 4,000 at Lakewood Park, Palin said Sen. John McCain had the experience and wisdom to revitalize the American economy.

Guys, sorry, but based on those pictures I could estimate the crowd from 2500 to 80000. Pictures don't tell how many people were in attendance unless you have an overview shot, which we don't. That's why I asked estimates on attendance.
The democratic leaners say not many, the republican leaners say very well attended. So, based on pictures and what I saw when I drove down Clifton at 9:30, I'll make my own estimate. Not crazy attendance but not poor either. Seeing as how I could have gotten close enough to listen, I wish I would have had the time to attend. Honestly, I thought it would have been more difficult to get that close.

I saw a BIG crowd last night at the Obama rally.

The crowd this morning was not nearly 4,000, unless you counted police, secret service, media, AND the Obama supporters outside the steel fence.

Stephen,

Judging by the amount you post on this forum, I would would say you are more Lakewood Observer than I am. So, what IS your agenda?

Well, I guess we can call a truce at this..

Attendance at the Lakewood Palin Rally-approx 4,000 (from AP) let's say 2,500 just for fun

Attendance at the Lakewood Obama Rally- 0 (zero)
Attendance at the Lakewood Biden Rally- 0 (zero)

That is just an approximation from my view from outside the fences.

Maybe Wednesday and the 4 years to follow will be your day, but today is mine and many others. :P

Gary, cue the banjo's and let's call it a day.

Rainbow, unicorns, and pink lemonade for everyone. :D

Thanks, I watched it to the point you said and with all due respect, still not an accurate assessment. Bigger than I thought but the camera stopped at the fence and I wanted to see how packed it was behind the fences.

Doesn't really matter though. It's what she said that is more important so I'll watch that video in a little bit when I have more time. I'm hoping it wasn't another half hour of Joe sixpack, Joe the Plumber, maverick references. I couldn;t more done with that than I am Derek Anderson!
