My dog was in violation....of being too darn cute!!!!

And looking thru all the pictures, I saw no pits what so ever. I did see one at the parade and it had a muzzle on, and I was being hugged by her.

Missy, I was joking. That's why I put 'pit bull' in quotes. There were two in the pictures that had some characteristics or looks that are often misappropriated as pit bull.

I was totally making light of the 'if the dog is deemed to have a pit bull or bully breed look' comment of the recent ordinance.

Oh i know you were joking. :D I did see this one dog though that I swear I thought was a horse. OMG I have never seen a dog that big before. LOL.

Again such a great event. This is one the first dog events that I have been to that I really enjoyed. I want to do it over again.

Hopefully next year I will have more dogs to bring with me that are not so "neurotic" .....yeah that wont happen.

Very nice.

I am amazed, with all you were doing, and photos!

Lakewood is much richer with you and Mike here.

Thank you again for a wonderful day.

Thanks..but I had lots of help from Debbie Baker and Katy Davis my co-chairs and also from Mary Anne Crampton and Kathy Haber. We also had help from my Mike and Mike Davis and Bryron Crampton...without them I don't know what i would have done!! (The helped to figure out a major logistics problems that I was too frustrated to solve!!) We also had many volunteers that helped that day. We couldn't do an event like this without all our volunteers and sponsors!

We tried to plan that I would be loose to take pictures to document the event. With all the pictures that were taken between you and me and all that have been posted on the deck, we will use them to sell sponsorships for next year's parade.

We already have one of the judges confirmed to come back next year and both Pet's General Store and Lakewood Hardware are coming back again as sponsors. Glen already has an idea of what his dog house will be next year.

This is a wonderful community with great support! I can't wait till next year!

Thank you everyone!

Thank you. I have never seen so many Pugs in one place and found it amazing that they were so popular.
