Spider!

Post by Mark Timieski »

I was digging up a flower bed this weekend and rousted this critter. Does anyone know what type of spider this is?

Thanks!

That's it!

I'm so used to seeing the drab wolf spider that the colors on this thing really surprised me. I've been trying to snap a picture of this thing all summer long, but they don't like to seem to want to pose for very long.

Mark, very cool spider. This summer has been the summer of monster bugs, spiders and weeds. I wonder if it has anything to do with the high heat and rain? I've had more unusual things in my backyard this year than ever before.
