Lakewood ArtWalk--October 11th from 4pm-9pm

Post by Ruthie Koenigsmark »

Did you know that the City of Lakewood has proclaimed October Arts and Humanities Month...which I affectionately refer to is Artober!!!!!!!! There are just a host of activities scheduled for the month, including the third Lakewood ArtWalk on Madison on Saturday, October 11th, from 4pm-9pm. We'll have more artists, performers and businesses participating...so mark your calendars........and take a look in the next lakewood observer to see the list of events for the day--should be the most talked about Northeast Ohio artwalk of season!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruth,

What time is the open house and I'm pretty sure I know the location but what is the address for the building?

Thanks!

It is 6-9pm.
The address is 13000 Athens. We'll have balloon and sign showing how to get into the building.

The following studios will be open:
Ann Onusko
Marc Konys
Marcy Herman
MC Nagel
Gina DeSantis joined by me, Ruth Sholtis-Furyes and Anne Linsky.

For directions and a complete list of artists visit

We have attended these open studios in the past and have been so impressed by the artists and their work.

This is a true hidden treasure of Lakewood.

Ruthie

Did I see a mention of a get together at Mahall's after the artwalk?

If so what were the times?

Yes, there will be entertainment at both bela dubby and Mahall's right after the artwalk ends at 9:30pm!

Please pick up the newest edition of the Lakewood Observer, on page 11 is the ArtWalk Guide with all the activities!!!! Special thanks to the LO for printing our ad, and Chris Richards for his design of the Guide.
