My apology

I would like to offer my apology to Dan Slife, Heidi Hilty, the Observer editors, staff and writers.

While finishing the paper for the first time in years, I freelanced on some of the captions, and titles. I should learn how to use the spell check.

While I could offer hundreds of excuses, in then end they are just that. As the publisher, the buck stops with me, and for good reason this time. I want to make it understood the editors, especially Dan Slife, are very good hard working intelligent people that care deeply for this project, and this community. They deserve and will get better from me.

Those that take the time to come off the sideline and play the actual game of taking an active roll in Lakewood, writers, photographers, advisers and board members, deserve a better effort from me.

All I can say is I will try.
