Brockley Ave. Block party

I just want to thank all my wonderful neighbors that helped provide our street with a fantastic block party yesterday. It was wonderful to have an opportunity to meet many more of my neighbors in such a fun setting. They did a fabulous job organizing it and making it happen. It makes me feel very proud to own a home on such a wonderful street!

Thanks also to the dedicated Fire and Police departments for their contributions as well. One firefighter spent a lot of time listening to my excited toddler go on and on in his excitement over being able to sit in a real fire truck. He will have a wonderful memory of that experience.

Thanks to all that participated, this kind of an event makes me so glad we chose to raise our family in Lakewood.
