Would it make sense...

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

One of the biggest holdups on the Cliffs project was access to Lakewood's Port Authority.

So why not turn the Cliffs project into a park and access to the Port Authority. While it would not help the Cliffs, it would speed up development of the 40 story hotel that was planned for the Sloan Underpass.

The property could be used for access and park. So coming in you would be greated with a nice park with a view of the river and lake.

Speaking of the hotel... Last night I ran into someone that lives I one of the three properties that was supposedly bought by the hotel group. He and the other homeowners are ready to go on the record for what was going on and what happened.

Should make for a good story, though I would rather see the progress happen.

LAst night some of us gathered at the new park and watched the sunset, while talking about how good it is that Lincoln was never really going to be closed.

It was beautiful, great spot for a park.

One eve thought it would be good to name it Foran/Montlack Park.

FWIW
