Lakewood is . . . (keep it going)

Post by Diane Helbig »

Borrowing from a 6th grade language arts exercise, I thought it might be interesting to see if we could name attributes of Lakewood from A-Z.

I'll start us off:
A - Affordable
B - Beautiful
C - Community

Where can you take this?? 8)

(of course, I see a great marketing message here!)

Diane, get Ivor to put a picture with every letter and you've got the makings of a nice coffee table book.

Bret, I LOVE IT!

Give me people that would buy the book and a church, charity or organization in Lakewood that could benefit from half of the profit, and you've got yourself a nice project.

We can get together and pick two or three words for every letter in the alphabet and come up with concepts and ideas for photography.

This thing could be finished just in time for the art festival.

J for Jammin? I know nobody says jammin anymore, but we do have a nice music community.

Forget it, I hate jammin. Somebody pick another J.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

Count me in. I'll be hard to reach all evening since I'll be taking photos of Omar Vizquel's return to Cleveland down at Progressive Field.

But this is a great idea and if we can find people to buy it then we can do this!

How about Lakewood is Art? That's an organization looking to raise funds to generate more safe/clean/fun art related activities in Lakewood for all of our residents to participate in and enjoy!
