Well...I wasn't ready to pick already so I did a quick search on Amazon for Summer Reading. One book that caught my eye was called: In the Woods By: Tana French. It is an Irish murder mystery (sort of keeping with our exploration of other lands). The other idea I have, if we want to go back to nonfiction, is to read one of Barack Obama's books: The Audacity of Hope or Dreams from my Father.

I'm leaving for a beach vacation on Friday and I'll be reading material for pure pleasure, and not likely for discussion. I'm also leaving my computer behind. So let me know what you guys think, and as always, I welcome others to jump in...

Sounds like something wih Fabio on the cover.

Those both sound like interesting options. I've been wanting to read one of Obama's books, but I think we've decided we like fiction better for our book club, haven't we? I like Ireland and murder mysteries...

Since I'm leaving tomorrow, I'll go ahead and announce that the next book is In the Woods By: Tana French. I know that it is available in paperback on Amazon, but hopefully it can be tracked down at the library too. Let's try to discuss this Irish Murder Mystery by the end of July.

Now off to the beach for some fun! :D

LPL does have In the Woods. The Main Branch copy is checked out, but due back by the end of the week. They also have it in audio.

I got the copy from Madison Branch.
