Today's PD carried an article "Vying for shares of Issue 18 money" by Karen Sandstrom (page E6, or, http://tinyurl.com/627r9t), which details the deliberations of 8 out-of-state arts experts who evaluated program funding proposals from 75 Cuyahoga-based arts and culture organizations.
Although the article does not mention it, the Lakewood Public Library received unanimous approval from the 8 experts for consideration for funding the proposal, "Cultural Programs for Children and Adults", which encompasses a wide range of arts, culture and literary events planned for July 2008 and June 2009.
