Let's weigh the pros and cons--- do I want to have a pleasant day or do I want to have an aggravating argument (debate)?

Tolerating "mosh pit" mentality and pretending it's civic discourse or actually applying logic, reason and being able to support your argument? Maybe Bill is onto something here. Heck, for the number of times people have challenged him this should be a happy day for many if these principles were applied to the Deck.
Can the club just be a separate thread on the deck where discussions have rules and wild assumptions, personal attacks, strawman arguments and other faulty logic will be called out and moderated by, oh I don't know maybe those who understand the rules of debate. I don't know all the rules of proper debate but it would have to be an improvement over the free for all.
