LHS Debate Club

Post by Chuck Greanoff »

Our next debate is set....Thursday, April 10th, 7:00 pm at the Auditorium in the basement of the Main Branch of the Lakewood Public Library. Our club looks forward to seeing you there! Our Topic is : "Would a Single-Payer, Government Sponsored Health Care System be Good for America?" We especially hope that those who debated health-care delivery related issues in the Lakewood Obvserer will attend.

As always, we welcome interaction with the audience---your comments and questions are not only welcome, but they also help our students hone their speaking and debating skills....See you there!!

Chuck-- I will be there for the debate. I was very impressed with the last debate regarding global warming and look forward to an equally enlightening exchange of ideas on this very important topic.
