David and Ivor,

I just loved the photos you guys took at the budget hearings so I "took" a few of my own!

Steve

We can dub you "Ivor Lay." Can you explain who is on the plate, and why the LO logo was drag into this?

Is that Dennis Devito in the cushman on the plate? Who head?

Was this an actual photo, a montage, collage, satire, dramatization, or historical photo?

Jim,

I consider this to be a satirical menage montage. Keep it in the Lakewood family. The woman in the photo is a representation of the seniors and all those served by the Human Services Department. She made some very eloquent points at the March 27th meeting but like many others her words fell upon deaf ears. I guess I'm old fashioned, I believe that WE should take care of the youth and the elders in our community instead of pawning them off on that "efficient machine" called Cuyahoga County.

That's not Dennis, I wish I had thought of that, I could have put the Cats on Holiday logo on the side of the Cushman!

I'm sorry to drag the LO into this, you know I am a staunch supporter of non corporate media and especially of the Observer. Unfortunately, "state sponsored" news frosts my shorts to a greater degree. I'm just pointing out that I feel that there have been subtle changes at the LO that the public should be made aware of.

Steve - I understand the point you're making but to see anyone doing something like that to the image of [edited by request] is very upsetting.

[edited by request] is 80 years old and has been a tireless activists in the Dem Party since you and many of the rest of us were born. To this day she attends as many events and activities as she can, spends countless hours volunteering and being a senior spokesperson. She is elogquent and dignified and this was a serious mistake.

Steve just looks young.

Don't be fooled.
