Lakewood Mayor Edward FitzGerald, serving as the Director of Public Safety, has issued an emergency snow parking ban in the city per Lakewood Codified Ordinance Section 351.26, effective 6:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2008. Parking is available in City of Lakewood Municipal Parking lots located throughout the city and at Lakewood Park, 14532 Lake Avenue and Madison Park, 13029 Madison Avenue.

Weather reports indicate snow and ice are expected throughout the weekend.

“An Emergency Snow Ban is being issued for the safety of all of our residents,â€￾ stated Mayor FitzGerald.

JoÉ is the new pup we rescued from the APL. We put his age at 8 months. A solid 70lbs. Playing with Deb in the snow.

Jim,

He is adorable. Obviously loves the snow - and Deb. Congratulations. Do you have any idea what breeds he has in him - looks to me to have some Rhodesian.

Here is our picture from the other day. Does it seem to you like we have had a lot of snow lately?

Congrats on the adoption, Deb and Jim!

While my mom has been very active in taking photos of the snow, I've been bundled up inside.

I went crazy last night and ended up going to a restaurant by myself and eating food because I couldn't stay in the house. Today's a different story.

I've done a lot of studying and brain storming for my next project. It'll be a book. I was thinking a movie as well but as much as I love cinematography I don't think I'll be up for that challenge yet. This book is going to be time consuming itself.

So I hope everyone is taking this time inside to get things done, or spend time with family. I've done both today, and already feel better than I have in previous weeks. Plus I'm a bit hopeful because I saw the weekly forecast.

How about the best of both worlds.

A flip book movie?

Dogue de Bordeaux, which is up stream from Bull Mastiffs, and Boxers.

The Dogue was popularized and some say ruined by the movie "Turner and Hooch" and in the logo for the Browns Players and Fan's Cleveland Kennel Clubhttp://clevelandkennelclub.com

snow days

Post by ryan costa »

It is good to have snow days like this. It keeps the killer bees at bay.

and you will nearly always see someone riding their bike with a 24 pack of beer on the handlebars.

I am very impressed with the job the City did in getting the snow plowed. After I shoveled my wife's car out of our driveway, I drove around Lakewood and found that the streets were safe, clean ... and fun. While I did not see anyone riding a bike with a 24-pack/case of beer, I did see cross-country skiers!

My mother and father hooked up with LHS, to have the area shoveled when it snows, and there are 3 guys who are clearing the entire drive, apron and walks in amazing time, with 2 shovels and a very small snow blower.

One guy always wears only a t-shirt, shorts and hiking sort of boots, and he says he's never cold.

Kudos to LHS shovelers. These guys kick a**. (self censored)
