Do Lakewood Schools do Iditarod?

From an amateur musher friend:

Do they know about the Bering Sea School District Iditarod
project? They have just about the best race coverage out
there and it's put together by young kids from the school
district, which is pretty interesting just by itself (tiny
Native villages *way* off the road system, on the Bering Sea
coast). They do video teleconferencing sessions for
classrooms anywhere that want to participate.

I thought this was going to be a joke about Lakewood schools not calling off school on snow days. This sounds cooler, though.
