Horace Mann - Check It Out

If you are able, check out the West Clifton side of Horace Mann School over the next few days. They are changing out the old windows with new, far more energy efficient (and clearly more attractive) 12 pane windows. Gorgeous!

Do yourself a favor and drive by over the next couple of days. It looks like they are progressing quickly and it is particularly interesting to see the new windows while some of the old ones are still in place.

Add in the acid wash of the brick completed recently and you have a very attractive structure that continues to fit with the traditional Lakewood look.

The same plan exists for Emerson School.

Thanks for the info....I'll have a look when I pick up my son from McKinley.

I'm very excited that he will be going to a 'new' school next year.

Him? not so much....but I keep telling him that the playground will be better.
