I had a great experience at Stanton's Touch Flower Shoppe!

Post by Gary Rice »

I stopped in to Stanton's today (17806 Detroit- 216.521.2500- www.StantonsTouch.com) to pick up a corsage for my dear lady friend for a dinner this evening. They were able to custom-make it to order, while I waited. It was gorgeous, AND at a price that I could not believe! I've never done business with them before, so I wanted everyone to know how much I appreciated the fact that they are here in town! :D

We have so many fine businesses here in Lakewood! :D :D :D

Gary-- At the moment I am speechless. I think we all knew you were a "Boulvardier" and consequently should be handled with caution.

I do hope, however, that your evening will be spectacular and your choice of flowers (from a Lakewood florist) will be recognized as a demonstration of the sublime class that you provide to all of us.

(I was going to make some reference to the saw guitar but I won't)

Maybe she never saw it? LOL!

Have a great time tonight Gary.

Stan,

Whazzaheck's a Boulvardier?

Hope that's a good thing?

Stanton's Touch

Post by jennifer scott »

Hi Gary,

Years ago when I had first moved back to Lakewood I attended a networking breakfast put on by the Chamber. My mother was not able to attend so my dad took me along.Terry Stanton had brought a bouquet of flowers for all the women that were there. He gave one to my dad for my mom, but, alas, no extras for me. A few hours later I heard my doorbell and there was Terry with the BIGGEST bouquet of flowers I had ever seen!!! :D He felt bad that I went home without any. Very sweet of him. Thanks for sharing your story today and enjoy your evening. Best to your dad. Jennifer

Well, the evening's excitement has passed. It was beautiful; even the great Lakewood weather!

(please see my LO column this week, about Lakewood's wild and usually wonderful weather!)

And the Stanton corsage? Oh yes, she liked it VERY much indeed!

I would highly recommend a visit to Stanton's. :D
