Rosati's is closing? I heard that rumor several weeks ago.

Anybody know if that is true? Tell me it's not...

I hope not, although I did see a closing sign in the window a few weeks back. Hopefully that just meant closing for the winter...

A friend of mine whose son worked at Rosati's has told me that it is indeed closing.

They seem to close every winter from December until March ... hopefully that's all that it is.

I think they closed for winter last year too, though I seem to remember they were only open on weekends, at least for a while. I wished they'd make the Bailey's custard again.

Thanks for the replies. I know they close for the season, but the rumor I heard was that they will not be reopening in the spring as they normally do.

I was just wondering if anybody could confirm that rumor or not. It is probably (and hopefully) just that, a rumor.

Thanks.

nope, it is true. Their lease in the lakewood location is up and they will not be reopening in the spring as the usually do. The Great Northern location will remain operating. I am soooo bummed.

yep, it's definitely true ... there's a "For Lease" sign in the storefront, and it's been cleaned out on the inside.

Too bad, I loved being able to walk up the street and get some great custard.

I have heard a rumor though ... don't know how true it is ... that the parking lot next to Rosati's will soon be home to Dunkin' Donuts.

Wonder if Rachel Ray will be at the grand opening?

Just looked on Rosati's website...they're opening a Twinsburg location.
