The Lakewood Observer Bowling Party

Mahall's Twenty Lanes

The Lakewood Observer has secured ten lanes at Mahall's for bowling and good times, and our advertisers are picking up the tab. (Bowling shoe rental $2.00)

Hors d'Oeuvres, soft drinks, and a cash bar.
(from Lakewood's oldest continiously operated bar and tavern)

Mahall's Kitchen, with a delicious menu, will also be open.

I've been meaning to take my son bowling for some time now! Last time we popped in Mahall's, they didn't have any available lanes.

I feel bad for the person the next day who has to put on the shoes Jim wore for the night of bowling. How good is that spray disinfectant anyway? Is there a Consumer Reports rating on its strength and germ killing abilities? Should the bowling alley just consider burning the shoes after Jim's rental time is up? Would the Health Dept. prefer this action instead of putting the shoes back into circulation? So many questions...

Great idea. Katie and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner and bowling at the Lakewood Elks Lodge #1350 before it became the Winking Lizard. Lots of fun!

David - Mahalls is a great idea.

Too bad the old Giant Eagle building isn't going to be the roller rink of my dreams, that would also be fun!

Everybody going should take cameras.
Post pictures to the LO Photo Blogs (with captions!) so those of us not going can see the festivities.

Thanks.
