Hey Lakewood - Don't drink, drive on New Year's Eve

Post by marklingm »

Sometimes the obvious needs to be said. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a nice editorial in its paper today entitled, Don't drink, drive on New Year's Eve: It's a painfully obvious â€â€￾ and painfully necessary â€â€￾ message. You can read it by clicking here.

Agreed. Besides, I'd rather stay home, make a nice homemade meal, watch the ball drop in HD, and crack open some champagne at midnight with my soon-to-be wife. 8)

Katie and I also stayed home ... which was also cool because we got to see the BMF&CB monkey running up and down Belle Avenue at 12:23 AM ... with JOB in hot pursuit. See http://lakewoodobserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5473 for those of you who, like us, missed the actual drop.
