Need a recommendation for a "family doctor", ours
Our internal med Doc, who we love and consider part of the family, has retired, so we are in need of some recommendations for a internal medicine doctor.
We'd prefer a woman, but that isn't mandatory, we for sure would like the doctor to be IN Lakewood, and able to work in Lakewood Hospital.
NOTE: We need someone that has the patience of a saint, and is personable, cares about their patients as they would their own family.
If your MD is like that, would you please PM me.

The Clinic across from Harding/Madison Schools is the one I've gone to as a child and my parents and I (now that I'm over 18) still use the doctors in that clinic.
Very friendly people, they'll help you with everything. And if they can't help you on site, they'll refer you to a good specialist in the area.
Dr.Bautista (he's the childrens physician) was very good. Although I've seen him twice in the last two years, he still remembered me this past January when he visited me while I was at Lakewood Hospital for a few days.
I believe that Dr.Wang is the adult physician and she's very friendly. My parents like her.

Chuck Garven is a longtime Lakewood resident and is a family doctor practicing at Rockport Medical Center. He is an incredible, compassionate and funny guy. Volunteers in Honduras; went uncalled to the Super Dome during Katrina knowing his skills were needed. Here's a short bio:
