Here we go again. Can we not agree upon one thing; saying Kucinich "stands with killers" and "Iraq is an illegal war" are BOTH merely allegations.

I met Chuck Noll once, does that make me a Steelers fan??? And people once said that I pulled a gun on a teacher, does that prove I'm a felon?

If this were a court of law, the opposition would merely stand, say "objection, council is stating argumentative speculation, not fact." the judge would say "sustained" and we would move on.

Unfortunately, the biggest problem is not that people do not distinguish between fact and opinion, it's that they seldom seem to know the difference between the two.

Fact: Dennis Kucinich has sustained his seat through a democratic elections process whereby the people voted legally, therefore, enough of the voting populace believes he is the best choice to help our district.

Fact: You can say the same thing about George W. Bush.

Period.

Now, both of them have a job to do. And both are expected to do it in the manner best fitting the reasonable expectations of those that voted them into power.

Why can't we honor both as at the very least, representing their constituency well.

It's the very fact that we have multiple elected officials with a multitude of different opinions and methods that makes us a great country.

I would add one more question about Kucinich to this thread.

How many floor votes has Congressman Kucinich missed?[/i]
